What does a chemical peel do?

A chemical peel can smooth rough skin, soften fine lines and improve uneven tone.

Compare the three approaches below. Each guide explains the treatment, potential results and recovery.

Three approaches.
Different skin concerns.

01 / Surface renewal

Superficial peels

Dullness, fine surface lines & texture

For a fresher, smoother surface.
These peels can soften fine surface lines and improve congestion and superficial pigmentation.

Little to no downtime, depending on the type and strength of peel.
Some cause mild dryness or flaking.

02 / Resurfacing

TCA skin resurfacing

Sun damage, lines & skin renewal

This guide compares two approaches:

TCA Refresh: A lighter treatment for sun damage and uneven tone.

TCA skin resurfacing: A deeper treatment that can improve more established sun damage, wrinkles and rough texture, with more visible peeling and a longer recovery.

TCA Refresh may cause fine, light flaking. TCA skin resurfacing can produce more extensive peeling. The treatment is tailored to your skin and the intended result.

03 / Focused scar treatment

TCA CROSS

Ice-pick & selected boxcar acne scars

For individual indented acne scars.
TCA is applied to selected scars to stimulate collagen remodelling and help reduce their depth, rather than peeling the whole face.

Small crusts form at the treated points and lift away as the skin heals.
